Job Description: A qualified candidate will have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related discipline, with a focus on implementation methodology. This individual will need to provide leadership in areas such as project management, knowledge of software functionality, business process definition & improvement, application configuration and management, organization and implementation of test and training programs, risk management, and resource planning. Candidates will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive creative and effective implementations.
This role will be based in Chandler, AZ and will work on a variety of projects supporting customers across the United States. Projects range in duration from a few weeks to four months and offer great variety and challenges.
Key Requirements:
• B.S. or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a related discipline.
• Professional Certifications (PMP, ITIL) are a plus but not required.
• 3 to 5 years experience as an IT consultant or MBA with 3 years related experience in sales, sales operations, product marketing, finance or IT.
• In-depth knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle from analysis to deployment and support.
• Background in implementing CRM software applications is recommended, but not required (Experience implementing other enterprise applications is also acceptable).
• Experience implementing internet applications with a focus on usability and adoption.
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, integrity, and a strong work ethic. They must understand the importance of putting the customer first and delivering high quality implementations.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with their peers and all relevant parties at the customer, including the senior management level.
• Experience leading and motivating teams of developers and end users through the entire software implementation lifecycle including the actual 'go-live' of new software applications.
• Strong interpersonal, team building, group organizational and motivational skills are a must.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.
• Ability to contribute to the business development process by participating in sales calls, assisting/leading proposal development efforts and delivering client presentations.
• Understands business and financial concepts
o P&L, Balance Sheet, Stmt of Cash Flows
o Assets vs. Expenses, Typical Order to Cash flow (quote to order to invoice)
o Typical roles of Sales, Marketing, Ops, Customer Service, and Accounting in a company
• Fundamentals of Project Management - Tasks, Status, Budget, Risk
• A willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 50% on an as needed basis.
