Verio, the company that asks you to "Build Your Business" and "Build On Us", has just built up its own business with the successful implementation of the SugarCRM solution as performed by Levementum.
Verio, a web-hosting company with multiple products and services, serves over 500,000 businesses worldwide. Started in 1996, Verio became a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT Communications in 2000 and operates in nearly two dozen key US markets, the top European markets as well as several major Asian markets. In the Uited States, Verio business functions are based out of Denver, Colorado and Boca Raton, Florida.
Key Challenges
For Verio, the management of almost 100 simultaneous users covering sales, marketing, channel partners and executives within Verio soon became quite cumbersome due to the lack of having one consolidated, enterprise-wide solution. As is the case in most growing companies, Verio had out-grown and developed disparate solutions within their various divisions. Some solutions were quite adequate when acquired originally, meeting the needs of smaller start-up companies; however, by quickly becoming a global force in the industry, Verio soon outgrew the older, slower solutions. Managing strategies and revenues soon took a back seat to just the basic operation of trying to adequately track the Leads-to-Customer process.
Solution
After a diligent search of CRM solutions, Verio chose SugarCRM over other similar solutions and hired Levementum to perform a customized implementation and to provide SugarCRM training to the Verio personnel. Over the span of a few weeks, Levementum reviewed and researched the Verio business, and then developed and implemented an enterprise-wide, customized version of the SugarCRM Professional solution that fit the Verio Business model.
Results
Common with Levementum implementations, Levementum and Verio worked together with Verio personnel actually configuring much of the SugarCRM solution under the guidance of Levementum. Levementum's approach of full-disclosure and knowledge transfer benefitted Verio greatly. Consequently, Verio is self-sufficient and can now modify SugarCRM to meet their needs on an on-going basis.
Verio now has full control over tracking and managing the full sales process from campaigns, leads and opportunties to customers and finally managing customer service requests all with SugarCRM Professional.
As a direct result of this centralized, consolidated tracking and handling of sales activities with SugarCRM, Verio now can focus on its business strategies without distraction.
