Due to competition and complexities in the CableTV/MSO industry Bright House Networks required greater visibility in to the myriad of activities related to customer acquisition, service deployment, and ongoing support. They suffered from having a complex network of customers, engineers, construction resources, and customer support staff, whereby coordinating and communicating were uniquely challenging due to the diversity of processes and systems in use. This resulted in duplicate opportunities, poor cycle time, price erosion, and an inability to measure ROI for a specific opportunity or a specific Customer. In addition, they found it difficult to track and manage contracts and SLA's.

Brighthouse Networks chose SugarCRM, the leading open source CRM solution, and Levementum as the solution to these key business and competitive challenges. Zilog selected Levementum to implement the Model N High Tech Revenue Management Suite to manage its quote-to-order processes and boost demand creation within both its direct and distribution channels.
Solution
The solution enables Zilog to price consistently across channels and regions and to apply appropriate contract terms and distributor margins. The company also expects to see a significant reduction in quote cycle time as the result of implementing Model N’s online quoting capability. And by using Model N to tie together opportunities, registrations, quotes, orders, and debits and automatically reconcile these against POS data, Zilog now has a scalable infrastructure that will allow it to grow its business and better serve its customers and channel partners while protecting margins.
